This policy explains what information Road Noise (“the app”), an internal analytics tool operated by ARMIS RV Guardian, LLC (“we”, “us”), collects, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies to the app and to this website, tiktok.armisinsights.com. Our customer website, armisrvguardian.com, has its own privacy policy.
Who uses the app
The app is used only by authorized members of our team. It is not offered to the public, and members of the public do not create accounts in it.
Information we collect
- Our own social media accounts. When we connect accounts we own on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, the app reads the information those platforms make available to account owners. For TikTok, with our permission, this is our account's profile information (display name, username and profile link), account statistics (followers, following, total likes and video count), and our own videos with their views, likes, comments, shares, post dates and captions.
- Public posts and comments. The app reviews publicly available posts and comments about ARMIS RV Guardian and RV tire safety topics. These may include the public display name or username of the person who posted them and the text of their post or comment.
- Website analytics. The app reads aggregated traffic and search statistics for our own websites from Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Sign-in tokens. When we connect an account, the platform issues access and refresh tokens. These are stored securely on our server and are never shown in a web browser.
We do not collect passwords, payment information, private messages, or information from accounts we do not own other than what is publicly visible.
How we use information
- To measure the performance of our own content and accounts over time.
- To understand customer questions, feedback and sentiment about our products and RV tire safety.
- To compare performance across our social media channels and improve our products and communications.
We do not use this information for advertising, profiling individuals, or automated decisions about anyone.
Sharing
We do not sell information or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Reports made from the app are shared only within our company and with partners who work with us on our marketing, and contain aggregated statistics. Information is processed by the service providers that run the app's infrastructure, such as Cloudflare, which hosts this website and our server. We may disclose information if required by law.
Storage and retention
Analytics data is stored on our team's devices and in data files we control. Sign-in tokens are stored on our server. We keep analytics data only as long as it is useful for our reporting. When we disconnect an account or its access is revoked, we delete its tokens from our server.
Revoking access
We can disconnect any connected account at any time. Access granted to the app can also be revoked from each platform's settings; on TikTok, in the account's security and permissions settings, where connected apps and services are listed.
Your choices
If a public post or comment of yours appears in our analytics and you would like it removed, or you have questions about information we hold about you, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
The app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We protect information with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and by keeping secrets and tokens on our server rather than in browsers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date above shows when it was last updated.
